Essays by Maranao scholars on their own people: the sultanates, the torogan, the darangen, marriage, law and the lake.
This collection of essays on the Maranao of Lake Lanao was edited by 2 Maranao scholars, Mamitua Saber and Abdullah T. Madale, and published in Manila by Solidaridad Publishing House in 1975. Library records file it under the social life and customs of the Maranao. The essays deal with their sultanates, the torogan or royal house, the Darangen epic, marriage, law and the lake. The book runs to 141 pages and includes references, and later writers on Maranao folklore have cited it.
