The kris, barong, kampilan and the rest, their forms, their making and their meaning, in the standard illustrated guide for collectors.
Robert Cato's illustrated book on Moro swords was published by Graham Brash in Singapore in 1996. A collector's review says it covers how the kris, kampilan and barong are made and where they come from, along with their sheaths, lesser-known swords, and the history of the popular Muslim weapons plaque.
Collectors on specialist forums note its influence on Moro sword collecting, though some question how carefully its claims were checked. Library records list a short bibliography.
