Inside the GRP-MILF Peace Process
No longer sold new: look for it in a library, or for a used copy.
The talks between the government and the MILF from 1997 to the eve of the Memorandum of Agreement on Ancestral Domain, from inside the Front’s panel.
This 250-page book by Salah Jubair, the pen name of Mohagher Iqbal, covers the formal peace talks between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. It was published in 2007 by the Institute of Bangsamoro Studies.
Jubair writes from inside the MILF, and Iqbal later chaired the Front's negotiating panel. He covers what happened at the negotiating table and also efforts outside the formal talks to find a lasting end to the conflict in Mindanao. A Mindanao annotated bibliography recommends it to readers who want to understand the talks between the government and the MILF.
