The Tausug and their sultanate seen from Sabah, where many Tausug now live, by a Malaysian writer of Tausug descent; first published in Malay in 2007.
This 222-page history of the Tausug people looks at their part in Islamic civilisation under the Sulu sultanate. It was written by Asreemoro and published by Saba Islamic Media in 2008. Library records list the history and the social life and customs of the Tausug as its subjects, and it includes a bibliography.
The same publisher also issued the book in Malay as Tausug & Kesultanan Sulu. The description of that edition lists the topics it covers: the genealogy of the sultans of Sulu, the true extent of the Sulu kingdom, the struggle for power between the Kiram and Aranan families, the Jabidah killings of 1968, the Moro wars and the claim to Sabah.
